Secure Typesetting
When typesetting secure materials such as exam papers, there are several security measures we need to meet, both in the physical and digital workspaces.
This includes only printing when necessary, secure bins for confidential shredding, tinted office windows, and a passcode-locked door to the typesetting office.
In the digital space, our secure typesetting computers are strictly isolated. They lack internet access, prohibit data transfer through USB ports and all emails and file transfers are closely monitored. We also don’t allow recording devices of any kind.
When it comes to secure typesetting production, we typeset thousands of exam papers a year. To achieve such high volumes, we’ve built InDesign templates and scripts to help automate the typesetting process whilst accurately following the exam board’s house style.
